I just put in 2048 instead.

and it seemed to be a fairly good guess based on this search I just did...

That time of year again, this time I went for a 3 year...

Although the SSL tab RSA CSR was set to 2048 in the Roxen UI, the result was too small, If I made it 4096 I was able to get cert.

Perhaps a typo on the key length?

Did a renewal to Verisign a while back. They required a csr with 2048 bits since they are about to upgrade all their certs/rootservers to that.
