Hi,

I have noticed a strange behaviour when replicating on the Windows platform.

We are running Roxen CMS 4.5.241 and I have noticed that replicated files seems to get external visibilty from the date when the files are physically written to disk, rather than the date from the metadata in the file.

Is this a known issue or are we doing something wrong?

regards

Should I take this up with the support team instead?

I don't recognize the issue off the top of my head, so it likely is a rare state.

Does it happen for every replication, or are there some circumstances that affect this behavior?

Is there a way to make replication keep publishing timestamps from the back end server? This is always done using a database or equal? Or have I got it wrong?

The case at hand is related to the blogmodule and publishing dates beeing screwed on posts when updating the content. We are running a modified blog module, but the publishing code is almost intact.

I guess we need a shared database, and disabled commithooks on the front end servers, right?

In this case I suggest sending an email to support@roxen.com instead.
